How to Prepare for Your Pressure Washing & Soft Washing Service
Thank you for choosing Station 321 Pressure & Soft Wash for your exterior cleaning service. We provide professional pressure washing and soft washing throughout Palm Bay and Brevard County, Florida. A little preparation before we arrive helps us work safely and efficiently while providing the best possible results.
Before We Arrive
Close & Secure Windows and Doors
Please make sure all windows, exterior doors, pet doors, and garage doors are completely closed and secured before we begin.
Window Screens - Optional
If you would like the exterior glass behind your window screens to receive more direct cleaning, you may remove the screens before we arrive.
Removing screens is completely optional. If screens remain installed, we will clean around them as part of the exterior wash, but access to the glass behind the screens may be limited.
Move Vehicles
If we are cleaning your driveway, garage area, house exterior, or nearby surfaces, please move vehicles away from the cleaning area before we arrive.
Parking vehicles on the street or another area of the property helps protect them from overspray and gives us room to safely complete your service.
Remove or Secure Outdoor Items
Please move or secure small, loose, or fragile outdoor items whenever possible. This may include:
Patio furniture and cushions
Outdoor rugs
Potted plants
Decorations and signs
Flags
Toys
Grills
Hanging decorations
Other loose or fragile items
If an item is too large or difficult to move, just let us know.
Unlock Gates
Please make sure gates are unlocked and accessible so we can reach all areas included in your scheduled service.
Keep Pets Indoors
For their safety, please keep pets indoors and away from gates, hoses, equipment, work areas, and cleaning solutions while we are servicing your property.
Let Us Know About Areas of Concern
Please let us know about any areas that may require special attention before we begin, including loose fixtures, damaged siding, failing paint, leaking windows or doors, damaged screens, loose pavers, electrical concerns, or other existing damage.
Water & Property Access
Unless other arrangements have been made, we may need access to a working exterior water supply during your service.
Please make sure exterior faucets are accessible and functioning.
Our equipment and hoses may extend around your property while we are working. Please use caution when entering or leaving the home during service.
Electrical Items
Please make sure exterior electrical outlet covers are properly closed.
If you have sensitive electronics, security cameras, speakers, lighting, decorations, or other exterior electrical equipment, please point them out to us before service begins.
Plants & Landscaping
We take reasonable precautions around landscaping and rinse surrounding vegetation as appropriate before, during, and after cleaning.
If you have newly planted, particularly sensitive, or high-value landscaping, please let us know before we begin.
What to Expect During Your Service
Different exterior surfaces require different cleaning methods.
Soft washing uses professional cleaning solutions combined with lower pressure to safely clean appropriate exterior surfaces.
Pressure washing may be used on harder surfaces such as concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, and other suitable materials.
Our goal is to use the proper cleaning method for each surface rather than simply using high pressure everywhere.
Stains & Specialty Cleaning
Standard pressure washing or soft washing may not completely remove every type of stain.
Rust, oil, irrigation staining, paint, oxidation, efflorescence, and deeply embedded discoloration may require additional specialty treatment.
If we identify something that may require a different cleaning process, we will be happy to discuss the available options with you.
After Your Service
Surfaces may remain wet and slippery for a period of time after cleaning. Please use caution on driveways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, pavers, and other walking surfaces.
We recommend allowing surfaces to dry before replacing furniture, outdoor rugs, decorations, or other items.
Some soft-washed surfaces may also continue to improve as remaining organic material releases from the surface.
Weather & Scheduling
Florida weather can change quickly.
Light rain does not necessarily prevent us from completing your service. However, thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, or other unsafe weather conditions may require us to adjust your appointment.
If a schedule change becomes necessary, we will communicate with you as soon as possible.
